The‚ mengkuang (sea pandanus leaves) keychains are handmade locally by the womenfolk on Tuba Island, Langkawi.
The mengkuang used for the woven products are harvested and processed on Tuba Island during the hot and dry season, while the weaving of the leaves take place during the wet season.
Product Details:
- Whale Fluke: ~ 6.5 cm (L) x 6 cm (H)
- Dugong: ~10.5 cm (L) x 4.5 cm (H)
- Dolphin: ~9.5 cm (L) x 6 cm (H)
- All Conserweavation Pals are made from mengkuang fibre, felt & fabric remnants stuffing
Note: Since the keychains are handmade, please allow for a difference of 1-2cm. Each order will be a random colourway, for specific designs, do drop an enquiry!
